Terms of Service
We are thrilled to become your trusted tailor. To ensure we provide you with the highest quality alterations, we ask that you come prepared with the following items for your appointment:
- The shoes you plan to wear with the garment.
- The undergarments you will be wearing, including a button-up shirt for suit jackets.
- Pre-washed items: Please wash your garments before bringing them in. This helps prevent unexpected shrinkage and minimizes allergens in our shop.
Alteration Policies:
- Alterations Scope: Tad More Tailoring is responsible for the correct fit of the alterations we perform. If you decide to have additional areas altered or request new adjustments after your initial fitting, an additional fee will be incurred for the extra work. If these changes require a rush order, a rush fee will also apply.
Important Policies to Keep in Mind:

Full Payment: Payment for all services is required upfront when garments are dropped off.

Garment Condition: To maintain a clean and safe environment, we require all garments to be clean and free of dirt, food stains, pet hair, odors (such as smoke or food), and other contaminants. Garments that arrive in poor condition will need to be cleaned before any work can begin. This protects both our team and other customers’ clothing.

Garment Pick-Up: Tad More Tailoring will hold finished garments for up to 90 days from the date on your receipt. We will make several attempts to contact you via the phone and/or email you provide. If garments are not picked up within 90 days, they will be donated.

Redo Policy: If you are not satisfied with your alterations, we are happy to address any issues within two weeks of notifying you that your order is ready for pick-up. Please note that for dresses, they must be tried on during pick-up. Once the dress leaves our shop, the customer agrees that the alterations are complete, and any further adjustments will require additional payment. The two-week grace period does not apply to dresses.

Marking Policy: We guarantee the fit of garments that have been marked by Tad More Tailoring staff. If you choose to mark the garment yourself or request specific changes, we cannot guarantee the final fit.

Prewashing for New Items: New garments should be washed prior to alteration to ensure the best fit. We do not cover shrinkage or changes in fit that occur after the garment is laundered post-alteration.

Special Circumstances: Alterations required due to pregnancy or significant body changes from medical procedures will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Further alterations will require an additional upfront payment.

Garment Possession: Unless further alterations are required, once the customer has collected their garment(s), Tad More Tailoring is no longer responsible for the items.
Agreement:
Completing a purchase, I confirm that I have read and understood the above requirements and agree to Tad More Tailoring’s terms, conditions, and policies, including the damaged garment policy and privacy policy
